How to Anger Customers

If you want to anger customers, I have the strategy for you:

Make your web form, signup for, or job application abnormally and unnecessarily long.

A report from Marketo said that when a form went from nine fields to five, form conversion rates improved by 34%!

It is amazing how many web forms are unnecessarily long.

Make it easy for people to get started. Especially if those people are not ready to purchase.
