In the last week, Iowa's two U.S. Senators (Grassley & Ernst) voted against a “net neutrality” resolution that would protect both consumers’ and businesses internet rights and access.
Earlier this year, I called for Iowa to lead the way on Net Neutrality when the FCC decided to rescind an Obama-era policy designed to protect consumers.
Net neutrality is designed to protect consumer access to the Internet and ensure fair business practices for all businesses and consumers.
I will fight strongly in the Iowa Legislature to ensure every business has a level playing field and all students, families, and individuals have the same access to any content on the web.
