Today marks the six-year anniversary of my loss in my campaign to become mayor of Mason City. Maybe someday I won’t start off that sentence that way. But each year since then, on this day, I’ve written a blog of some kind. It’s not a depressing thought, I’m proud of what I did. I’m proud of running and the challenge we put to the city. The campaign site is no longer active, but I have a new domain (MayorDedor.com) that I can’t decide what to do with. Any ideas? I’d love to hear them!

In honor of today, I’ve picked out a few desks I think would look good in my office once I am elected governor, senator or maybe even president. Just picture the Oval Office behind these desks… interesting no?
